  • Wall Street expects Wells Fargo & Co WFC to report its quarterly earnings at $1.01 per share on revenue of $22.17 billion before the opening bell. Wells Fargo shares gained 0.45 percent to $49.16 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect PNC Financial Services Group Inc PNC to report its quarterly earnings at $1.76 per share on revenue of $3.81 billion before the market open. PNC Financial shares rose 0.17 percent to $83.00 in after-hours trading.
  • Goldman Sachs and Bass Pro Shops are close to a deal to acquire Cabelas Inc CAB, according to a report by the NY Post on Thursday. A source said Bass is the only remaining bidder, as private equity firms Apax Partners and TPG Capital are no longer participating in the bid process. Cabelas shares surged 2.72 percent to close at $54.08 on Thursday.

  • Citigroup Inc C is projected to report its quarterly earnings at $1.15 per share on revenue of $17.77 billion before the market open. Citigroup shares gained 2.58 percent to close at $44.45 on Thursday.
  • Analysts are expecting U.S. Bancorp USB to have earned $0.81 per share on revenue of $5.19 billion before the opening bell. U.S. Bancorp shares rose 1.33 percent to $41.80 in after-hours trading.
  • First Horizon National Corp FHN is projected to report its quarterly earnings at $0.23 per share on revenue of $313.36 million. First Horizon National shares climbed 1.76 percent to close at $14.49 on Thursday.
