Analysts expect DISH Network Corp (NASDAQ: DISH) to report its quarterly earnings at $0.12 per share on revenue of $3.74 billion. DISH Network shares gained 0.01 percent to $46.08 in after-hours trading.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported better-than-expected results for its fourth quarter on Wednesday. NVIDIA shares surged 7.23 percent to $29.66 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) to have earned $1.22 per share on revenue of $4.22 billion in the latest quarter. Nordstrom shares rose 0.48 percent to $52.50 in after-hours trading.

NetApp Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) reported upbeat earnings for its third quarter, but the company missed analysts' sales estimates. The company issued a weak earnings forecast for the current quarter and announced plans to lower its workforce by 12 percent. NetApp shares gained 3.48 percent to $24.37 in the after-hours trading session.

Discovery Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: DISCA) is estimated to report its quarterly earnings at $0.41 per share on revenue of $1.67 billion. Discovery Communications shares rose 4.50 percent to close at $26.71 yesterday.

Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) agreed to be acquired by China's Tianjin Tianhai Investment Co Ltd for $38.90 per share in cash. Ingram Micro shares surged 23.22 percent to $36.53 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts expect Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) to post its quarterly earnings at $0.25 per share on revenue of $2.24 billion. Applied Materials shares slipped 0.06 percent to $17.13 in after-hours trading.

Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) reported upbeat earnings for its first quarter and issued a strong outlook for the current quarter. Synopsys shares jumped 6.63 percent to $46.50 in the after-hours trading session.
