Its net sales climbed 5 percent to $14.36 billion. However, analysts were projecting earnings of $0.78 per share on revenue of $14.34 billion.

Eurozone
European shares were lower today. The eurozone's STOXX 600 slipped 0.26 percent, the Spanish Ibex Index dipped 0.96 percent, while Italy's FTSE MIB Index dropped 0.99 percent. Meanwhile, the German DAX dropped 0.30 percent, and the French CAC 40 slipped 0.76 percent, while U.K. shares fell 0.04 percent.
Economics
US housing starts shrank 11 percent to an annual rate of 1.06 million in October. However, economists were estimating starts to drop to 1.17 million. Oil inventories climbed 252,000 barrels to 483.7 million barrels in the week ended November 13, the Energy Information Administration said. However, economists were expecting a gain of 1.1 million barrels. The Federal Open Market Committee will issue minutes of its latest meeting at 2:00 p.m. ET.
