Auto Trader Full-Year Pretax Profit Surges

Auto Trader Group PLC reported a gain in its pretax profit for the year ended March 29. Auto Trader's pretax profit for the year climbed to GBP10.9 million, versus GBP3.7 million, in the year-ago period. Its revenue rose 8 percent to GBP255.9 million, while operating profit jumped 35 percent to GBP133.1 million from GBP98.7 million. Chief Executive Trevor Mather said, "The new financial year has started well and in line with the Board's expectations."
