China Shenhua Energy Full-Year Net Profit Slips

reported a 14.2% drop in its net profit for 2014. China Shenhua Energy's net profit for the year slipped to 38.7 billion yuan (US$6.23 billion). Its revenue declined 12.5% to CNY248.4 billion. The company's board announced plans to pay a final dividend of 74 yuan cents a share, compared to 91 yuan cents a share in 2013. China Shenhua Energy shares rose 1.02% to close at $10.44 yesterday.
