Stocks To Watch For December 1, 2014

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects Mattress Firm Holding MFRM to post its Q3 earnings at $0.70 per share on revenue of $431.01 million. Mattress Firm shares gained 1.08% to close at $71.03 on Friday.

Analysts are expecting Thor Industries THO to have earned $0.81 per share on revenue of $903.87 million in the third quarter. Thor Industries shares rose 1.49% to close at $58.76 on Friday.

Wal-Mart Stores WMT self-proclaimed on Friday that it performed "awesome." Wal-Mart's online sales on Thanksgiving amounted to its second-highest online sales day ever, topped only by Cyber Monday last year. Wal-Mart shares climbed 3.01% to close at $87.54 on Friday.

Analysts expect Shoe Carnival SCVL to post its Q3 earnings at $0.48 per share on revenue of $248.83 million. Shoe Carnival shares rose 0.90% to close at $20.26 on Friday.

Energy shares will remain in focus on Monday, after OPEC decided to maintain its output during its annual meeting on Thursday. Shares of Goodrich Petroleum GDP tumbled 34.2%, Energy XXI EXXI shares fell 36.6%, while Oasis Petroleum OAS shares dipped 27.1% on Friday.
