EasyJet Posts Rise In Profit

reported a 22% gain in its full-year profit. The British carrier's pretax profit for the year jumped to GBP581 million ($910 million), versus management's outlook of as much as GBP580 million. Its net profit climbed to GBP450 million in the period. Its revenue climbed 6.3% to GBP4.5 billion. EasyJet proposed to pay an ordinary dividend of 45.4 pence per share.
