UPDATE: Omnicom Posts Upbeat Q4 Earnings

Omnicom Group

reported a 2.1% drop in its fourth-quarter earnings. Omnicom's quarterly profit fell to $300.5 million, versus $307.1 million, in the year-ago period. Its per-share earnings came in flat at $1.13. Excluding special items, its adjusted earnings came in at $1.18 per share. Its revenue surged 2.9% to $4.06 billion. However, analysts were estimating earnings of $1.16 per share on revenue of $4.03 billion. Omnicom shares gained 3.95% to $77.10 in pre-market trading.
