Royal Bank of Canada Q4 Profit Surges 11%

Royal Bank of Canada

reported an 11% rise in its fourth-quarter profit. RBC's quarterly earnings surged to C$2.1 billion ($1.96 billion), or C$1.40 per share, from a year-ago profit of C$1.9 billion, or C$1.25 per share. RBC shares closed at $64.61 yesterday.
