NRG Yield Prices 19.575M Share IPO at $22.00/Share

NRG Energy, Inc.

and NRG Yield, Inc. (“NYSE: NYLD), today announced that NRG Yield, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc., has priced an initial public offering of 19,575,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a price of $22 per share. The shares will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and will trade under the symbol “NYLD” beginning July 17, 2013. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,936,250 shares of the Class A common stock from NRG Yield.
