reported a loss in the second quarter. KB Home posted a quarterly loss of $2.97 million or $0.04 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $24.14 million, or $0.31 per share. Its revenue rose 73% to $524.4 million from $302.9 million. However, analysts were projecting a loss of $0.04 per share on revenue of $524 million. KB Home shares gained 2.56% to $20.40 in pre-market trading.
