Bharti Airtel FQ4 Net Profit Drops 49.4%

India's Bharti Airtel reported a 49.4% drop in its fiscal fourth-quarter net profit. Bharti Airtel's quarterly net profit declined to 5.09 billion rupees (US$94.76 million), versus 10.06 billion rupees, in the year-ago period. Its consolidated sales climbed 9.2% to 204.48 billion rupees. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 6.57 billion rupees.
