UPDATE: 3D Systems Posts Higher Q4 Profit

reported a rise in its fourth-quarter net income. 3D Systems' quarterly net income surged to $10.9 million, or $0.19 per share, versus $8 million, or $0.16 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding items, it earned $0.39 per share. Its revenue climbed 45% to $101.6 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.26 per share on revenue of $103.9 million. 3D Systems shares dipped 41.37% to $33.39 in pre-market trading.
