Anglo American Posts 2012 Loss, Lifts Dividend

posted a net loss in 2012 and lifted its full year dividend by 15% to $0.53 per share. Anglo American posted a full-year net loss of $1.49 billion, versus a year-ago net profit of $6.17 billion. Its sales dropped 5.9% to $28.8 billion. Anglo American shares closed at $15.49 yesterday.
