UPDATE: AOL Posts Rise In Q4 Profit

reported a rise in its fourth-quarter profit. AOL's quarterly net income surged to $35.7 million, or $0.41 per share, versus $22.8 million, or $0.23 per share, in the year-ago period. Its advertising revenue jumped 13% to $410.6 million in the quarter, while total revenue gained 4% to $599.5 million. AOL shares closed at $31.41 yesterday.
