LG Electronics Posts Wider Q4 Loss

LG Electronics posted a wider-than-expected fourth-quarter net loss. LG Electronics posted a quarterly net loss of 468 billion won ($432 million), versus a year-ago net loss of 111.6 billion won. However, analysts were expecting a loss of 300 billion won. Its operating profit rose to 107 billion won from 85.6 billion won, while sales declined 2.3% to 13.5 trillion won.
