Silvercorp Provides Update of Operations at Ying Mining District, Henan Province, China

reported Friday, that as a result of work by the local power authority in upgrading a sub-station, power to the local area where TLP, HPG and LM mines as well as the two mills are located will be suspended for approximately 4 to 5 days from December 15, 2012. The Company expects that the temporary power suspension will result in a reduction of approximately 5,000 tonnes of ore production from the mines involved.
