Gol Reports Q3 Net Loss

posted a loss in the third quarter. Gol posted a quarterly loss of 309 million Brazilian reais ($150 million), versus a year-ago loss of BRL516.5 million. Its operating expenses climbed 14% to BRL2.19 billion. Gol's net revenue surged 7.9% to BRL1.98 billion from BRL1.84 billion, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and aircraft rental costs (EBITDAR) fell to BRL96 million from BRL124.2 million. Gol shares closed at $4.84 yesterday.
