Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects MetLife (NYSE: MET) to report its Q3 earnings at $1.28 per share on revenue of $17.15 billion. MetLife shares dropped 1.21% to close at $35.22 on Friday.

Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) announced its plans to buy Lucasfilm Ltd, the owner of the "Star Wars" franchise, from its chairman and founder, George Lucas for $4.05 billion in cash and stock. Disney shares fell 0.36% to close at $50.08 on Friday.

Analysts are expecting General Motors Company (NYSE: GM) to have earned 0.60 per share on revenue of $35.92 billion in the third quarter. General Motors shares fell 1.48% to close at $23.28 on Friday.

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) reported better-than-expected adjusted earnings for the second fiscal quarter. But the company issued downbeat earnings forecast for the third quarter. Electronic Arts shares dropped 2.46% to close at $11.91 on Friday.

Analysts expect Mastercard (NYSE: MA) to report its Q3 earnings at $5.93 per share on revenue of $1.94 billion. Mastercard shares gained 0.81% to close at $452.98 on Friday.
