Stocks To Watch For October 3, 2012
Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:
Wall Street expects Monsanto Co (NYSE: MON) to report its Q4 earnings at $0.43 per share on sales of $2.22 billion. Monsanto shares dropped 0.36% to $90.61 in the after-hours trading session.
Resources Connection (NASDAQ: RECN) posted a surge in its first quarter profit. Its quarterly net income rose to $4.8 million, or $0.12 per share, from $2.6 million, or $0.06 per share, in the year-ago period. Resources Connection shares jumped 4.60% to $13.86 in after-hours trading.
Analysts are expecting RPM International (NYSE: RPM) to have earned $0.64 per share on revenue of $1.08 billion in its fiscal first-quarter. RPM International shares surged 7.51% to $28.63 in after-hours trading.
Xyratex Ltd (NASDAQ: XRTX) posted downbeat third-quarter results. It also expects a loss for its current quarter. Xyratex shares tumbled 13.79% to $7.50 in after-hours trading.
Analysts expect Family Dollar Stores (NYSE: FDO) to report its Q4 earnings at $0.75 per share on sales of $2.36 billion. Family Dollar shares rose 0.95% to close at $66.00 yesterday.
