UPDATE: United Natural Foods Q4 Profit Up 46%

United Natural Foods

reported a 46% rise in its fourth-quarter profit. United Natural Foods' quarterly profit surged to $25.1 million, or $0.51 per share, versus $17.2 million, or $0.35 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its sales rose 16% to $1.34 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.51 per share on sales of $1.32 billion.
