UPDATE: Krispy Kreme Posts Drop In FQ2 Profit
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (NYSE: KKD) reported a drop in its fiscal second-quarter profit.
Krispy Kreme's quarterly profit fell to $4.9 million, or $0.07 per share, from $8.8 million, or $0.12 per share, in the year-ago period.
Its revenue climbed 4% to $102 million, while comparable-store sales rose 5.4%.
Krispy Kreme also backed its forecast for the fiscal year.
Krispy Kreme shares gained 1.87% to $7.08 in after-hours trading.
