Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd
CCLAY reported a 61% rise in its first-half profit.
Coca-Cola Amatil's net profit for the period surged to 247.2 million Australian dollars (US$258.8 million), from A$153.6 million, in the year-ago period. Its net profit before significant items came in at A$247.1 million, versus analysts' estimates of A$246 million.
Coca-Cola Amatil announced its plans to pay an interim dividend of 24 Australian cents per share, versus 22 cents in the prior year.
Coca-Cola Amatil shares gained 0.10% to close at $28.94 yesterday.
