China Mobile H1 Net Profit Rises 1.5%

China Mobile Ltd

reported a 1.5% rise in its first half net income. China Mobile's net income for the period climbed to 62.2 billion yuan ($9.77 billion). It also announced an interim divided of HK$1.633 per share. Analysts were expecting a net profit of 63.95 billion yuan. China Mobile shares dropped 0.69% to close at $58.89 yesterday.
