TNT Express Posts Rise In Q2 Profit

reported a rise in its second quarter net profit. Its quarterly revenue rose 1.7% to EUR1.83 billion, versus EUR1.80 billion, in the year-ago quarter. Its operating income surged 67.4% to EUR77 million from EUR46 million. TNT Express's net profit jumped to EUR40 million. TNT Express shares gained 1.01% to close at $10.96 on Friday.
