Advanced Semiconductor Q2 Net Profit Drops 12%

reported a 12% drop in its second-quarter net profit. Advanced Semiconductor's quarterly net profit fell to 3.20 billion New Taiwan dollars (US$106 million), versus NT$3.64 billion, in the year-ago period. Its revenue declined 0.8% to NT$45.87 billion versus NT$46.25 billion. Advanced Semiconductor shares closed at $3.63 yesterday.
