Legrand Posts 0.9% Rise In H1 Profit, Confirms FY Forecast

reported a 0.9% rise in its first-half net profit. Legrand's revenue climbed 5.5% to 2.22 billion euros, versus 2.11 billion euros, in the year-ago period. Its net profit rose 0.9% to 268.7 million from 266.4 million euros. Legrand's sales in France dropped 2.9%, while sales in Italy declined 12.8%. Its sales in the US and Canada gained 3%. Legrand also confirmed its forecast for the full year. Legrand shares closed at $32.50 yesterday.
