Riverbed Technology Skyrockets on Q2 Earnings

released its second-quarter earnings results after the closing bell on Tuesday. The company reported adjusted income of $37.35 million or $0.23 per share, compared to $34.89 million or $0.21 per share, in the year ago period. This came in ahead of Wall Street analysts' consensus EPS estimates of $0.21. Total revenues in the period were up 17 percent to $198.47 million from $170.30 million last year. Non-GAAP revenue was $198.97 million. This compared to analysts' consensus estimates of $194.46 million. In the after hours trading session, Riverbed shares have soared more than 23 percent to $17.91.
