Gas Natural Q2 Net Profit Down 17.2%

Spain's Gas Natural SDG SA

reported a 17.2% drop in its net profit for the second quarter. Gas Natural's quarterly net profit fell to EUR360 million, versus EUR435 million, in the year-earlier period. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) gained 15.5% to EUR1.26 billion. Its revenue jumped 22.7% to EUR5.95 billion, versus EUR4.85 billion.
