reported a 19% gain in its first-half net profit. Julius Baer's net profit for the period climbed to 175.5 million Swiss francs ($177.82 million), versus 147.3 million francs, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 156 million francs. Julius Baer shares closed at $7.07 on Friday.
