Tesoro (NYSE: TSO) shares traded higher on Tuesday. Goldman Sachs upgraded the company from a Sell to a Neutral rating.

Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) traded up about 11% on Tuesday. The company completed its takeover of Canadian-based company Neo Materials Technologies while headlines circulated that the Chinese government was warning of depleting rare earth supplies.

Most Bearish

ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) shares sunk over 2% on Wednesday. Goldman Sachs downgraded the company to a Sell rating.

J. C. Penney (NYSE: JCP) traded lower on Tuesday after the company announced the departure of its President Michael Francis. Francis was brought in less than a year ago to reinvent the retailer's marketing.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is frequently discussed on social media. Shares of the tech giant were relatively stable on Wednesday, two days after Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) unveiled its rival tablet the Surface.

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) held an event Wednesday afternoon. The company laid out plans for Windows Phone 8, the version of its Windows 8 operating system intended to run on smartphones.

Walgreen (NYSE: WAG) traded down about 3% on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Walgreen announced an alliance with Alliance Boots, a leading international pharmacy store.

FedEx (NAYSE: FDX) traded sharply higher on Tuesday, and maintained those gains on Wednesday. The company reported earnings on Tuesday that beat analysts expectations.
