UPDATE: Winnebago Posts Upbeat Q3 Profit

Winnebago Industries Inc

reported a strong rise in its third-quarter profit. Its quarterly profit surged to $3.94 million, or $0.13 per share, versus $1.2 million, or $0.04 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its revenue surged to $155.7 million from $135.6 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.12 per share on revenue of $164.7 million. Winnebago shares closed at $8.99 yesterday.
