reported a rise in its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings. Booz Allen's quarterly profit climbed to $50.6 million, or $0.36 per share, from $18.1 million, or $0.13 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding certain items, Booz Allen earned $0.44 per share. Its revenue climbed 3.2% to $1.54 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.41 per share on revenue of $1.55 billion. Its operating margin climbed to 6.3% from 5.6%. Booz Allen's board authorized a quarterly dividend of $0.09 per share. Its board also approved a special dividend of $1.50 per share. Booz Allen shares closed at $14.88 yesterday.
