UPDATE: Campbell Soup Posts Decline In Q3 Profit

reported a drop in its third-quarter profit. Campbell Soup's quarterly earnings declined to $177 million, or $0.55 per share, from $187 million, or $0.57 per share, in the year-ago period. Its net sales came in at $1.82 billion, from $1.82 billion in the year-ago period. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.52 per share on revenue of $1.82 billion. Campbell Soup shares dropped 1.80% to $32.80 in pre-market trading.
