IAG Swings To Q1 Loss

International Consolidated Airlines Group SA

posted a net loss in the first quarter. IAG posted a quarterly net loss of EUR146 million, versus a year-ago net profit of EUR33 million. IAG's pretax loss came in at EUR263 million, versus a loss of EUR47 million. Its revenue gained 7.8% to EUR3.92 billion. IAG posted an operating loss of EUR212 million, versus a loss of EUR102 million. IAG shares closed at $13.10 yesterday.
