Vivendi SA
VIVHY reported a strong rise in its first-half net income.
Vivendi's earnings attributable to holders climbed to 2.56 billion euros ($3.7 billion), or 2.07 euros from share, from 1.27 billion euros, or 1.03, in the year-ago period. Its adjusted net income per share rose to 1.48 euros from 1.24. Vivendi's revenue climbed to 14.25 billion euros from 13.98 billion.
Vivendi shares fell 0.32% to close at $23.17 yesterday.
