Aker Solutions Reports Downbeat Q2 Earnings

reported weaker-than-expected second-quarter earnings. Aker Solutions reported its quarterly net profit at NOK134 million, down from NOK445 million, in the year-ago period. Analysts were expecting a net profit of NOK356.2 million. Aker Solutions revenue dropped to NOK7.8 billion, from NOK8.1 billion. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) declined to NOK636 million, from NOK853 million.
