Dean Foods Co (NYSE: DF) reported a 41% decline in its first-quarter profit on Tuesday. The company reported its Q1 profit at $25.3 million, or $0.14 per share, compared with $43.2 million, or $0.24 per share, in the year-earlier period. The company's net sales increased 3% to $3.05 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.06 per share on revenue of $3.07 billion. The company lifted its current-year earnings guidance to $0.67 to $0.75 per share from its previous forecast of $0.55 to $0.65 per share. The company projects its current quarter earnings of $0.15 to $0.20 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $0.13 per share.

K12 Inc (NYSE: LRN) reported weaker-than-expected fiscal third-quarter profit. K12 reported its FQ3 profit at $5.6 million, or $0.16 per share, versus $6.1 million, or $0.20 per share, in the year-earlier period. The company's revenue climbed 35% to $130.3 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.21 per share on revenue of $131 million. K12's operating margin for the latest quarter narrowed to 8.3% versus 10.7%. The company's average enrollment surged 47% to 101,030.

M.D.C. Holdings Inc (NYSE: MDC) reported its Q1 loss at $19.9 million, or $0.43 per share, versus a loss of $20.9 million, or $0.45 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's revenue surged 15% to $169.7 million. However, analysts expected a loss of $0.44 per share on revenue of $172 million. MDC's home gross margin dropped to 13.7% from 22.4%. Its orders declined 24% to 705 homes.

CommVault Systems Inc (NASDAQ: CVLT) reported its Q4 EPS of $0.25, versus the estimates of $0.23. CVLT reported its revenue of $89.6 million, versus the estimates of $84.37 million.

Duncan Energy Partners LP (NYSE: DEP) reported its quarterly EPS of $0.33, versus the estimates of $0.38. DEP reported its revenue of $283.2 million, versus the estimates of $284.77 million.

Imperial Tobacco Group Plc (OTC: ITYBY) reported its first-half net profit at 926 million pounds ($1.51 billion), from 689 million pounds, in the year-earlier period. The company's total revenue climbed to 13.7 billion pounds from 13.37 billion pounds. Its total volumes, including cigarettes and fine-cut tobacco, dropped 0.7% to 164.9 billion sticks from 166.1 billion sticks. The company also declared a dividend of 28.1 pence and announced a 500 million pounds share repurchase program.

Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc (NASDAQ: HMIN) reported its Q1 EPS of $0.12, versus the estimates of $0.14. HMIN reported its revenue of $108.2 million, versus the estimates of $110.81 million.

InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (NYSE: IHG) reported a 28% rise in its first-quarter net profit on Tuesday. The company's net profit came in at $69 million, versus $54 million, in the year-earlier period. The company's revenue climbed to $396 million from $362 million. Its global revenue per available room rose 6.9%, including rise of 18.8% in China and 8.4% in the U.S.

Enterprise Product Partners LP (NYSE: EPD) reported its Q1 net income at $435 million, or $0.49 per share, from $392 million, or $0.33 per share, in the year-earlier period. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.45 per share. The company's revenue surged 20% to $10.2 billion.

Warner Music Group Corp (NYSE: WMG) reported its fiscal second-quarter net loss of $38 million, or $0.25 per share, versus a loss of $25 million, or $0.17 per share, in the year-earlier period. The latest quarter results include a $0.05 per share impact from severance charges. Its revenue surged to $682 million. The group's digital revenue increased 9% y/y to $220 million. However, analysts were estimating a loss of $0.28 per share on revenue of $610 million.

BG Group PLC (OTC: BRGYY) reported its Q1 net profit at $597 million, from $960 million, in the year-earlier period. The latest quarter results were affected by unrest in North Africa and floods in Australia. BG's profit excluding non-cash accounting charges dropped to $1.01 billion, versus a forecast of $1.24 billion. The group's revenue surged to $4.79 billion from $4.36 billion.

TUI Travel PLC (OTC: TUIVY) reported its fiscal first-half net loss at 255 million pounds ($418 million), versus 319 million pounds, in the year-ago period. Its revenue increased 4.7% to 5.21 billion pounds.

Pike Electric (NASDAQ: PIKE) reported its quarterly EPS of $0.02, versus the estimates of $0.01. PIKE reported its revenue of $153.8 million, versus the estimates of $140.8 million.

Suzuki Motor Corp (OTC: SZKMY) reported a 56% surge in its net profit for the fiscal year ended March. The company's net profit jumped to Y45.17 billion, from Y28.91 billion, in the earlier year. Its operating profit soared 35% to Y106.93 billion from Y79.37 billion. Its sales increased 5.6% to Y2.608 trillion from Y2.469 trillion.

JA Solar Holdings Co Ltd (NASDAQ: JASO) reported upbeat quarterly profit. The company reported its Q1 net income at $71.8 million, or $0.41 per American Depositary Share (ADS), versus $0.25 per ADS, in the year-ago quarter. The company's revenue surged to $556.4 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.31 per ADS on revenue of $551.7 million.
