Sanderson Farms, Inc. Announces Increase in Quarterly Dividend to $.17

Sanderson Farms, Inc.

today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular cash quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share payable October 19, 2010, to stockholders of record on October 5, 2010. This represents a new annual dividend rate of $0.68 per share. Payment of the regular quarterly dividend will remain subject to Board approval each quarter.
