US Intel Leaks Reportedly Traced Back To Military Base Worker Called 'OG' On Discord

The person behind the recent leak of a large amount of confidential U.S. intelligence documents has reportedly been identified as a man who works at a “military base.”

What Happened: The individual reportedly shared the sensitive classified documents with a tightly-knit group of friends on the online chat platform, Discord, reported The Washington Post.

The publication reported the bombshell development based on interviews with a teenager who claims to be friends with the leaker, who goes only by "OG" in the Discord group.

"He's a smart person. He knew what he was doing when he posted these documents, of course. These weren't accidental leaks of any kind," the unnamed teen told the publication.

"He's fit. He's strong. He's armed. He's trained. Just about everything you can expect out of some sort of crazy movie," the leaker's alleged friend said, adding that he is in his early to mid-20s.

According to the teenager, “OG” regularly shared information that he claimed was classified with him and approximately two dozen other individuals who were part of a private Discord group called “Thug Shaker Central.”

“OG” was the administrator of the group.

"We all grew very close to each other, like a tightknit family," the teenager said, adding that the chat group was formed at the height of the pandemic in 2020.

He added that “OG” obtained the documents from his office, which is an undisclosed “military base,” where he had entry to a secure facility on the premises.

Since the story of the leak broke on April 6, "OG" reportedly came into the server "frantic." The report added that “OG” has had communication with some server members as recently as “in the past few days.” He is described as upset and uncertain about solving the ongoing situation.
