Instagram Faces Partial Outage, Users Complain Of Disappearing Accounts Globally

Meta Platforms Inc META Instagram faced an outage in some parts of the world, Downdetector reports.
The issues peaked between 10:02 a.m. ET to 10:17 a.m. ET with 7,394 users.
Almost 54% of users mainly faced app-related, and 42% faced login problems. Around 4% faced issues with the website.
"We suspended your account on 31 October 2022," the alert shows.
It's not clear how widespread the problem is.
Instagram tweeted, "We're aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account. We're looking into it and apologize for the inconvenience. #instagramdown"
Users said their account was mysteriously suspended without proper warning, India Today reports.
It also appears that affected users cannot retrieve their account despite clicking on the 'Disagree with decision' option.
Price Action: META shares traded lower by 4.89% at $94.35 on the last check Monday.
