Ford Gains On 36.6% US Sales Growth In July

Ford Motor Co's F July total U.S. sales increased 36.6% year-on-year to 163,942 units.
Retail sales for the month jumped 52.3% Y/Y. Sales of Electric Vehicles (EV) rose 168.7% Y/Y to 7,669 units.
Overall truck sales grew 20.3% to 87,335 units, and SUVs gained 69.9% to 73,234 units.
"F-Series hit the 60,000-truck mark for the first time this year, with our all-new electric F-150 Lightning having its best sales month yet," said Andrew Frick, VP, Sales, Distribution & Trucks, Ford Blue.
Price Action: F shares are trading higher by 3.36% at $15.67 on the last check Wednesday.
