What To Know About Thursday's Widespread Brokerage Outages
Traders and investors are reporting outages above and beyond GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) and AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc (NYSE: AMC)
Robinhood, Interactive Brokers and other brokers limited trading on GameStop, AMC, and other extremely volatile stocks Thursday morning. Coinciding with the volatility, some brokerage platforms appear to be completely down and inaccessible.
In addition to the volatility, the widespread issues began after Robinhood put a limit on trading Thursday morning.
"We continuously monitor the markets and make changes where necessary," Robinhood said in blog post. "In light of recent volatility, we are restricting transactions for certain securities to position closing only, including $AAL, $AMC, $BB, $BBY, $CTRM, $EXPR, $GME, $KOSS, $NAKD, $NOK, $SNDL, $TR, and $TRVG. We also raised margin requirements for certain securities."

Users were reporting conflicting information about TDAmeritrade. Some users are saying the platform is operating as usual while others are saying it is down. TD Ameritrade confirmed issues with its mobile app but confirmed it has since been resolved. Some TradeZero users are also reporting outages.
I'm able to log onto TD desktop at the moment, but not mobile. Exact same thing for Webull.
