Why Lithium Americas Stock Is Trading Higher Today

Lithium Americas (NYSE: LAC) shares are trading higher on Tuesday after the company announced that the United States Bureau of Land Management has issued the Record of Decision for the company's Thacker Pass lithium project.

Lithium Americas is a Canadian resource company. It operates various projects namely Cauchari-Olaroz lithium brine project in Jujuy, Argentina and Thacker Pass lithium claystone project in Nevada.

Lithium Americas shares traded up 27% to $26.21 at publication time. The stock has a 52-week high of $28.52 and a 52-week low of $1.92.
