Why Veritone's Stock Is Trading Higher Today

Veritone (NASDAQ: VERI) shares are trading higher on Friday due to continued momentum from yesterday after the company announced it was awarded a $1.3 million subcontract under the U.S. Air Force Program to enhance satellite imagery analysis.

Veritone is a cloud-based cognitive software company. Its proprietary artificial intelligence platform unlocks the power of cognitive computing to transform unstructured audio and video data and analyze it in conjunction with structured data in a seamless, automated manner to generate actionable intelligence. The open platform integrates an ecosystem of a variety of cognitive engines, which can be orchestrated together, to reveal valuable multivariate insights from vast amounts of media.

Veritone shares were up 21.97% at $10.16 at the time of publication on Friday. The stock has a 52-week high of $19.67 and a 52-week low of $1.22.
