Why Virgin Galactic's Stock Is Trading Higher Today

Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc SPCE shares were trading higher on Monday.

The move is due to the successful trip made by SpaceX's Crew Dragon this weekend, with two NASA astronauts aboard. The rocket docked at the International Space Station's Harmony Port at 10:16 a.m. ET after a 19-hour journey on Sunday.

Virgin Galactic Holdings is a U.S.-based vertically-integrated aerospace company pioneering human spaceflight for private individuals and researchers, as well as a manufacturer of advanced air and space vehicles.

Virgin Galactic shares were trading up 2.02% at $17.38 on Monday during the time of publication. The stock has a 52-week high of $42.49 and a 52-week low of $6.90.
