  • Cerulean Pharma Inc (NASDAQ: CERU) shares jumped 36.8 percent to $2.08. Cerulean Pharma shares have dropped 33.91 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 17.48 percent in the same period.
  • Mobileye NV (NYSE: MBLY) shares surged 29.6 percent to $61.27. Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) announced plans to acquire Mobileye for $15.3 billion, or $63.54 per share in cash.
  • Verastem Inc (NASDAQ: VSTM) shares gained 19.4 percent to $1.48.

  • Scorpio Bulkers Inc (NYSE: SALT) surged 9.2 percent to $8.35. Credit Suisse upgraded Scorpio Bulkers from Neutral to Outperform.

  • Lifetime Brands Inc (NASDAQ: LCUT) shares climbed 8.7 percent to $15.70 after the company reported strong earnings for its fourth quarter.
  • Kirkland's, Inc. (NASDAQ: KIRK) gained 8.2 percent to $12.41. Raymond James upgraded Finisar from Outperform to Strong Buy.
  • Central Federal Corporation (NASDAQ: CFBK) shares rose 7.1 percent to $2.09 after gaining 1.56 percent on Friday.
  • Cempra Inc (NASDAQ: CEMP) shares rose 4 percent to $3.74. Cempra retained Morgan Stanley to lead its process to review strategic business options.
  • Blueprint Medicines Corp (NASDAQ: BPMC) gained 3.3 percent to $40.61. Goldman Sachs upgraded Blueprint Medicines from Neutral to Buy.
  • Gartner Inc (NYSE: IT) rose 3 percent to $108.92. RBC Capital upgraded Gartner from Outperform to Top Pick and raised the price target from $117.00 to $124.00.
  • Health Insurance Innovations Inc (NASDAQ: HIIQ) shares rose 3 percent to $16.20. Canaccord Genuity initiated coverage on Health Insurance with a Buy rating.
