The worst performing industries in the market today are:

  • Oil & Gas Pipelines: This industry slipped 2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was NuStar GP Holdings, LLC NSH, which fell 5.7 percent. NuStar GP reported Q3 earnings of $0.40 per unit.
  • Healthcare Information Services: This industry declined 1.9 percent by 11:00 am with Cerner Corporation CERN moving down 6.7 percent. Cerner posted downbeat earnings for its third quarter.
  • Electronics Stores: This industry fell 1.7 percent by 11:00 am ET. GameStop Corp. GME shares dropped 11.8 percent in today's trading. GameStop revealed preliminary results for the third quarter that missed expectations.
  • Research Services: The industry dropped 1.6 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Myriad Genetics, Inc. MYGN, which declined 15 percent. On Tuesday, Myriad Genetics reported a FQ1 loss of $1.2 million on revenue of $177.5 million. Stephens & Co. downgraded Myriad Genetics from Overweight to Equal-Weight.
