  • Kamada Ltd KMDA rose 11.8 percent to $5.70 in pre-market trading after the company reported the extension of GLASSIA supply and distribution deal with Shire.
  • PTC Therapeutics, Inc. PTCT rose 7.4 percent to $14.72 in pre-market trading after gaining 2.85 percent on Wednesday.
  • Mizuho Financial Group Inc. (ADR) MFG rose 4.2 percent to $3.49 in the pre-market trading session after gaining 0.30 percent on Wednesday.

  • Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ALNY shares fell 43.2 percent to $39.95 in pre-market trading after the company disclosed that it has decided to discontinue the Revusiran development. Leerink Swann downgrades Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from Outperform to Market Perform and lowered the price target from $107.00 to $40.00, while Barclays also downgraded the stock from Overweight to Equal-weight and lowered the price target from $85.00 to $50.00.
  • Twitter Inc TWTR shares fell 16 percent to $20.90 in pre-market trading. Alphabet Inc GOOGL and its Google are the latest to drop out as interested parties to a possible takeover of the company. "Google does not currently plan to make a bid for Twitter," according to Recode's Kara Swisher and Kurt Wagner.
  • Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc IDRA shares fell around 12.6 percent to $2.28 in pre-market trading as the company announced plans to offer $50 million shares common stock.
  • The Medicines Company MDCO shares fell 10.5 percent to $34.45 in pre-market trading. The Medicines Company issued a progress update on its ongoing ORION-1 study of PCSK9si.
  • Resources Connection, Inc. RECN fell 6.5 percent to $14.00 in pre-market trading despite a revenue beat. While Q1 sales of $143.39 million beat estimates by $860,000, EPS of $0.15 fell $0.02 short of expectations. Also impacting on shares was the unexpected retirement of CEO Anthony Cherbak; the company cited health considerations, and said he would be replaced by Kate Duchene until a permanent CEO is found.
  • Summit Therapeutics PLC (ADR) SMMT shares fell 5.6 percent to $13.55 in pre-market trading.
  • Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals Inc ARWR shares fell 3.6 percent to $7.25 in pre-market trading following Alnylam Pharmaceuticals news.
  • Tesla Motors Inc TSLA fell 2.7 percent to $202.80 in pre-market trading. Goldman Sachs downgraded Tesla from Buy to Neutral and lowered the price target from $240.00 to $185.00.
