  • Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc AMPH rose 5.8 percent to $20.11 in the pre-market trading. Amphastar Pharmaceuticals will replace Cirrus Logic, Inc. CRUS in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on September 21.
  • Puma Biotechnology Inc PBYI rose 5.1 percent to $61.95 in pre-market trading after the company reported the FDA acceptance of NDA for PB272 for extended adjuvant treatment of HER2-positive early stage breast cancer.
  • Everbridge, Inc. EVBG shares rose 4.2 percent to $17.20 in pre-market trading after gaining 8.20 percent on Monday.

  • Ascena Retail Group Inc ASNA fell 24.5 percent to $6.13 in pre-market trading after the company reported downbeat earnings for its fourth quarter and issued a weak forecast for the first quarter.
  • HNI Corp HNI shares fell 11.4 percent to $48.01 in pre-market trading after the company lowered its Q3 and FY earnings outlook.
  • Encana Corp (USA) ECA fell 6.4 percent to $9.23 in pre-market trading driven by the announcement of a public offering of 107 million shares. The company said half of the net proceeds will be used to fund a portion of next year’s capital program, and the other half to pay down debt.
  • SeaWorld Entertainment Inc SEAS shares fell 6.2 percent to $11.91 in pre-market trading. SeaWorld trimmed its quarterly dividend by more than 52 percent, to $0.10 per share, and announced that this would be the last payment before suspending it.
  • Oclaro, Inc. OCLR shares fell 5 percent to $8.65 in pre-market trading following the company’s announcement that it would offer 13 million newly-issued shares of common stock. Management said it intends to use the proceeds for general purposes.
  • Chesapeake Energy Corporation CHK shares fell 3.8 percent to $6.55 in pre-market trading as Carl Icahn reduced Stake in the company from over 9 percent to 4.55 percent.
  • Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc AQXP shares fell around 2 percent to $12.44 in pre-market trading. Aquinox priced its 5.35 million share public offering at $12.25 per share.
  • Trinseo S.A. TSE shares fell 2 percent to $54.70 in pre-market trading as the company reported an offering of 10.67 million shares via selling shareholders.
